Prayer for an end to the coronavirus crisis
Loving God, we come before you in our time of need. We lay before you our concerns and fears over the spread of the coronavirus. We know that you are mightier than all our fears and that the name of Jesus is the name above all other names. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that you stop the spread of the coronavirus. In your mercy, heal those who are sick and lead those who have died into your heavenly kingdom. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe
Our Lady of Guadalupe, mother of God and of the people of Metuchen you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and hope. We rely on you, Health of the Sick, you who, at the cross, united with Jesus’ pain, keeping steadfast your faith. You, Salvation of God’s people, you know what we need and we are sure that you will provide for us, as at Cana of Galilee, after the adversity of these days, may joy and celebration return. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do what we are told by Jesus, who has taken our suffering upon Himself and has burdened Himself with our sorrows to lead us through the cross, to the joy of resurrection. Amen. Under your protection, Holy Mother of God, Our Lady of Guadalupe, we seek refuge, hear our prayer and intercede for us to the Father so that we may be free from every danger, Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us

Prayer for our catechism families during time of pandemic
"Heavenly Lord, you give us each new day and call us to give back to you in our prayers and good works. During this time of sadness and suffering with the worldwide virus outbreak, please strengthen us to be families of faith. You help us through Jesus to use this time in family sharing to pray and show kindness through patience and generosity, through gratitude and obedience to your plan for our family's peace and happiness. We realize that because of your Holy Spirit we are a wider faith family and we feel compassion and concern when we hear about so much sickness and uncertainty.
Please remind us through your holy cross that we are saved and in Jesus' words we are called to follow in the new life of sacramental grace. As we watch mass during these weeks of health emergency and offer our prayers with all those watching from their homes. Bless us with hope about the future when we will once more be gathered as your holy people around the altar and when we will celebrate the joy of receiving your Body and Blood and having our sins forgiven through sacramental grace. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, the Bread of Life and with Mother Mary's promise to intercede for our needs as Health of the Sick and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Amen."
Prayer for Confirmation Youth in the time of pandemic
“Dear Lord, you love us in your Son, Jesus who took our pain and suffering and was lifted high upon the cross. Hear us as we pray during this moment of sadness and strife. As a young person the question is ‘Why does this have to happen?’ There are so many announcements and such an uncertain future. Where are you, Lord, in the midst of this problem and this fear? But, I know that even as I ask these questions my heart is remembering the truth that you keep your promises and that your trials and surrender at Calvary were the victory over despair and destruction. May my heart find you now at this time of worldwide affliction. May I believe through your strength given me by my baptism and my sacramental life that your Holy Spirit is filling our world with peace and overcoming loss with faith, hope and love. As I patiently wait to hear of my call to be confirmed in this same Holy Spirit, help me Lord to be steady with my daily prayers and to remember to read the Bible, to pray to Mother Mary and to watch the mass as it is taped. Thank you for the Church that blesses my life, my family that has given me life, and your kingdom of eternal life. Be with all who need our prayers, those infected and struggling to survive, those caring for their needs, those protecting our homes and streets, those guiding our country and our world, and may the souls of all the faithfully departed who have died through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.” The ’Angelus’ Prayer (especially for the feastday of the Annunciation of the Lord, March 25) The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary: And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word. Hail Mary... And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us. Hail Mary... Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
